Matt Bird

Matt Bird, or Matteo as he is known in Sicily, lives between London and his holiday home in Noto.

He dreamed of a home in the sun and in 2021 he purchased a ‘fixer-upper’ home in Noto, Sicily.

The following week he visited Noto and Sicily for the first time! Thankfully he fell in love with Noto, Netini and Sicily.

Matt discovered the best of Noto and southeast Sicily by trial and error and began writing about his experiences to help others.

He now provides travel advice to others visiting the city and region through his weekly travel blog Noto Italy and annually updated travel guides Matt's Noto and Matt's Sicily.
